Professional Body or Association that represents professional and accredited finance executives can apply to join CFO International Alliance. Finance executives include Finance Directors, CFOs, Finance Managers, CEOs, Chief Value Officers, Finance Executives, Heads of Finance, Chief Accountants, Senior Financial Managers and Business Executives.

No joining fee will be charged, but each application will be subject to evaluation and approval by the Executive Committee, and applicants will be expected to honour the following commitments:
- Distribute information provided by the CFO International Alliance to members at least once a month
- Attend at least two CFO International Alliance events per year
