Workplan Highlights

  1. International Performance Management Barometer

A partnership with AXYS, a French consulting firm specializing in transforming the Finance function with 250 consultants and over 35 years of experience, has been established to develop a barometer that assesses global performance management practices, focusing on the integration of financial and non-financial performance measures. The BIPP stands out by providing companies with strategic insights based on in-depth analyses of responses to questionnaires collected worldwide. With this data, the barometer sheds light on various essential aspects of performance management, risk management, and the integration of social and environmental dimensions. It guides companies in their pursuit of sustainable and balanced performance.

Cross-Perspectives and Constructive Dialogue

The barometer aims to offer cross-perspectives by involving all stakeholders, from companies to standard-setting bodies and green investment funds. It highlights both the practices of companies in their sustainable transition and the level of alignment with the growing demands and expectations of the ecosystem. It also serves as a lever to create constructive dialogue among these stakeholders, fostering a better understanding of the convergences and divergences in expectations and practices, while working towards progressively aligning objectives.

  • An annual conference will be held in an ICFOA member country to present the barometer results.

BIPP 2024: Theme and Objectives

    • For its first edition, to be published in December 2024, the Barometer will focus on the role of the Finance function in the sustainable transformation of businesses.
    • Each year, the BIPP will focus on a current theme, agreed upon by the partners. This year’s theme is: “The Role of Finance in Sustainable Transformation.” This choice reflects the growing need for companies to integrate sustainability into their financial management to remain competitive and responsible.
